At The Wayward Alchemist, each item is crafted, blended, or designed with care and intention. Because our work involves handmade, one-of-a-kind pieces and perishable goods, we maintain a limited refund policy to ensure fairness and sustainability for both creator and customer.
Please review the following terms carefully before making a purchase.
Eligibility for Refunds
We only offer refunds in cases where:
- The item arrives faulty, damaged, or incorrect, and
- A Refund Request Form is submitted within 7 days of the delivery date.
If more than 7 days have passed since your delivery, we cannot offer a refund or replacement.
Items Not Eligible for Return or Refund
Due to the nature of our products, we do not accept returns or offer refunds for:
- Disposable or consumable goods, including herbal teas, botanicals, or other perishable items.
- Custom, commissioned, or made-to-order pieces.
- Digital downloads or educational materials once delivered electronically.
- Items that have been used, altered, or damaged after delivery.
- Items that were bought while on sale or in clearance.
Return Process for Eligible Items
If your order qualifies for a refund due to defect or error:
- Complete the Refund Request Form within 7 days of delivery (available on our website or via email request).
- Include clear photos and a brief description of the issue.
- Once your request is reviewed, we will contact you within 3–5 business days with next steps.
If approved, you’ll receive instructions for returning the item.
Please note:
- Customers are responsible for return shipping costs.
- Original shipping charges are non-refundable.
- Refunds are issued to the original payment method once the returned item is received and inspected.
Damaged or Incorrect Orders
If your order arrives damaged or incorrect, please contact us at thealchemist@thewaywardalchemist.com within 7 days of delivery. Include photos of the packaging and the item itself so we can assess and resolve the issue swiftly.
Non-Returnable Exceptions
Certain items may be eligible for replacement instead of refund at our discretion—especially if materials are limited or the piece is unique. In such cases, we’ll discuss options directly with you.
Refund Processing Time
Once your returned item is received and inspected, we’ll notify you of approval or rejection.
If approved, refunds are processed within 5–10 business days, depending on your payment provider.
